It's just another day in the world. Got up for work, played with the cats and was off. No one annoyed me on the highway and I made it on time even after stopping for gas and breakfast.
I'm the only one here today. This means no lunch or I have it delivered cause I ran out of time to stop at the supermarket to grab something. I don't like being alone on a nice day. It means that at lunch I can't step outside and grab a breath of nice spring fresh air. I hate being stuck inside all day. By the time I get out and get home, it feels like my whole day is gone. Winter time is the worst for that because I'm out the door before the sun and it's gone when I walk out the door here. Total winter blues.
I have summer plans though. Take a week off and go away with the family. We are going to try to enjoy every ounce of nice this year. We are going to go rock climbing and hiking and kayaking. Maybe a couple camping trips and ocean trips.
But for right now, it's just work. I'll look out my window, little as it is, and watch the kids play and cars go by.
